Goats 'n' Oats - Natural Hypoallergenic 105g - Handcrafted

These are my unscented and nourishing Goats Milk and Oatmeal bars of soap. The bars have an average weight of 105g and have one smooth side and one slightly rougher side to help with exfoliating and removing damaged skin.

I have been making and using these bars for 14 years since I was a teenager. I've had severe eczema since I was a child and that only got worse when puberty struck and acne was added to the mix. Shop bought soap often left my skin dry and flaky with frequent flare-ups, but when I started to make these I slowly gained more control over my skin.

Because the pH of Goats Milk is closer to the pH of your skin than water is, it soothes irritated skin, moisturizes, and helps to limit the severity of outbreaks. it has emollient properties, thought to draw and lock moisture into your skin, and making it gentle for anyone with skin conditions such as Eczema or Psoriasis and prevent your hands from drying out further and alleviates symptoms. The milk as a balancer, as well as having the potential to lock moisture into your skin it can also dry out any conditions caused by excessive moisture such as acne. The milk naturally contains alpha-hydroxy and caprylic acids, which help to weaken and remove damaged skin and with its presence of Vitamin A and Selenium, make way for fresh and healthy new skin without removing any natural fatty acids with it.
